Mexicali, home of a great wild population of the ring-necked pheasant, is located in the northeast of Mexico, just below Calexico at the California/Mexico border. The valley consists of large and diverse sowing land, specially sorghum, which allows the pheasants to reproduce freely.
The hunt is made with the help of bird boys.
